The Big Chill proved to be the perfect place for what has become an annual family gathering. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The game room was perfect for the kids.

Our stay at this cabin in Hochatown was absolutely perfect! It was the ideal getaway for our group of friends – peaceful, cozy, and stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing trip. The cabin was clean, well-equipped, and had a great setup for both hanging out and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. We had such a great time and are already planning to come back next year. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun and stress-free escape!
Perfect Place!
Perfect Time at a Perfect Place! We met with friends from different states and had a blast! The cabin was gorgeous and clean. The game room made us all feel like kids and made some great memories!
Practically Perfect!
We had such a good time at The Big Chill. The separate game room is an incredibly unique feature that I haven’t seen in any other cabins of its size. What makes it so great is that it allowed the early birds to go to sleep in the cabin while the night owls stayed up late in the game room.
I do have two recommendations to make, but neither one is worth subtracting a star from the amazing experience.
One is that the main cabin features one big living/dining/kitchen area with the bedrooms along both sides. This is great for everyone hanging out during the day, but at night it means that if anyone is awake in the main cabin, anyone trying to sleep in their rooms can hear every sound loud and clear. Something to mitigate that would be super helpful. Maybe soundproofing under the bedroom doors, or adding things like a minifridge and/or chairs to the game room to make it less necessary for anyone hanging out there at night to need to make trips into the main cabin.
The other idea that would make this cabin perfect is if it had even a small piece of playground equipment in the back. The little kids saw some swings and a slide at the neighbor’s cabin and wanted to go play on it during the day. Even something simple would be appreciated.
But overall we had a blast and intend to visit this same cabin in the future.

My stay
This place is amazing. We really enjoyed being there. So much to do just on the property. The game room so full of good games and outside horseshoes and cornhole. I wasn’t aware of all the other cabins. I was expecting it a getaway from all the people and traffic but that wasn’t the case. I know you can’t do anything about that. Our stay was great and we enjoyed the cabin and the amenities, thank you so much.

Family Gathering
Met our family’s needs perfectly. Great facility. Only negative: took a very loooong time to get hot water in the sinks! However, great place. Will highly recommend it!!!
Family Vacation
This is our 3rd year staying with Tin Star and our family loves it every year this year we stayed at the Big Chill and its one we will for sure stay at again and because of the staff is also another reason we love to use this company big thanks to Carrie and Rebecca.

We absolutely loved the cabin! There was tons of space and so many games and activities to do! We enjoyed our stay and our littles loved it as well!

Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at this beautiful cabin! We had such a great time enjoying the amenities. There were a few things I wanted to make you aware of. They did not inconvenience us in any way but were amiss when we arrived, and I wanted to make sure you knew for the next group. The outside mini fridge was not keeping anything cold, the outside trash can lid was broken off, and half of the jets in the hot tub did not work. Other than those things everything was perfect. Once again, thank you for allowing us use of the property!
Perfect for a Rainy Weekend
I'm so glad that the cabin included a game room because it rained the entire weekend. We enjoyed every minute spending time together.

It is exactly the way you see it is in the photos! Had everything we needed for our family and another to break away from DFW and enjoy Spring Break! We had a ton of teens, and they never said, "I am bored". That's AMAZING! LOL!

Lovely stay in an awesome cabin
The cabin was perfect for our group - the big kids had a space to themselves and there was plenty of hang out space with loss to do. The bedrooms were lovely and the property is beautiful. This place is fantastic and would definitely recommend!

Great place to take the family
The property was amazing. Everyone took advantage of ALL the games in the game room. The living space was perfect. We had fun fishing the pond across the street. More to do but just didn’t have enough time to do it all. Great place to stay.
Amazing house, well stocked & plenty to do
We travel with a group of friends & this is our first time to Broken Bow! The house was beautiful, well stocked & was exactly as listed. The house was close to lake & other attractions as well as having plenty of activities to keep you busy at the house.

Great for Family Getaway
We stayed at The Big Chill for a weekend with three families (6 adults, 4 kids). We couldn't have asked for more perfect accommodations. Everything except the loft in the game room was one story, which made it perfect for my MIL, who has knee issues. Everything was very clean, and it had all the items we needed, including plenty of dishes and silverware in the kitchen and very soft linens in every room. The beds were so comfortable! The kids had so much fun playing in the game room, and the patio was perfect for the adults to keep an eye on them while visiting with each other. The hosts' instructions were clear, and the check in and check out process was easy. Highly recommend!

Layout was awesome. Game House is great. Property felt very spacious why hanging outside. Covered patio w/ TV, plenty of seating, grill, and hot tub was a great chilling area between the 2 houses. Very clean and everything worked. Would highly recommend!

The property is perfectly located near everything and about 15-20 mins from Broken Bow Lake. It’s very clean and very spacious.! We truly enjoyed the game room, and the loft above. We also took advantage of the fire pit outside.

This property was amazing!! Such a beautiful cabin. Great for the kids, the game room was awesome. My family enjoyed our 4th of July weekend in Oklahoma. 5 star hands down..We had a perfect stay at the Big Chill.

The cabin was really nice and as pictured / described. We had 10 people stay and there was plenty of room for everyone. Our only downside was the bugs, but in a wooded area that is to be expected.
The house was set up and decorated very nice!
The games being in the separate house made it very relaxing in the main house. Great location! This cabin has everything you need! Plenty of parking. Very comfortable for 13 adults and two children. The lake is just minutes away.

The house was perfect for our family vacation. The location was good but it wasn't quite as secluded as I had hoped. The bunk house/game room was awesome! It kept the teenagers entertained for hours. Definitely a big plus! We also enjoyed the large fire..
