The Big Chill property is carved out of 2-acres of gorgeous towering pines, with a 3,000 sq. ft. single-story main house and a separate game house (connected by the open patio walkway). The game house is fully loaded with a new slate pool table, new 12’ championship shuffleboard, new foosball table, air hockey, and ping-pong. With this big fun space, your group can play together, or you can split up to enjoy the fun in the game house, while others enjoy the peace offered by the main house or amazing outdoor spaces. Everyone wins.

Ample front parking makes unloading convenient and parking your boat a breeze. Just inside, white pine walls and a welcoming open floor plan with high vaulted ceilings awaits you. Enjoy sitting on the hearth of the floor-to-ceiling, hand pieced, rock fireplace or relax around it on luxury furnishings. Large windows offer views of the nature outdoors, with the comforts of being indoors. Gather around the dining room table and large kitchen island with smooth granite counter tops or dine outside on the spacious back porch. With both indoor and outdoor kitchens--it's your choice where you want to cook! If you don't want to cook, the Hochatown area has you covered with plenty of options for you. The main house has no stairs, which is great if you have toddlers or anyone with mobility issues in the group. It offers 5 bedrooms with king beds. The connected 1,100 sq. ft. game house has an upstairs loft bedroom with a queen and 2 twin day beds with trundles, to sleep an additional 6 guests--for a combined total of 16 guests!

The Big Chill is the perfect place to retreat and have a memorable, relaxing time (or an endless series of competitive game house championships) whether it be for a family reunion, church/ministry gatherings, executive planning retreats, men’s weekend, ladies weekend, or couples and friends (of all ages) trying to spend some quality time together.

OVERVIEW
The Big Chill is conveniently located close to good eats and fun activities including recreational park amenities such as fishing (a quick seven minute drive to the dam), hiking, bike riding, horseback riding, kayaking and canoeing. The Big Chill sits near Beavers Bend State Park, Broken Bow Lake, Cedar Creek Golf Course, and Hochatown area attractions/local fare.

The living area features upscale modern and rustic décor including plenty of ultra-plush cozy seating around a floor to ceiling fireplace. The dining area features a traditional wood dining room table with a bench and seating for 8. Counter seating around the spacious granite island offers additional seating. The large, full kitchen includes all the appliances and cookware guests need for a short or long term stay, including a large refrigerator and stove top. Private washer/dryer in master suite, as well as an additional washer and dryer for the main area.

Enjoy the spectacular views while relaxing on the spacious, covered deck with a large an 8-person hot tub, built in outdoor kitchen with a gas grill, counter space for prepping, refrigerator and sink. Dine outside on the open air picnic table, or lounge around the TV and watch the game in the covered outdoor living space. Off the porch, a fire-pit with additional seating is the perfect spot to make s'mores or play corn hole and horse shoes. Guests can venture out on the 2 acres including a volleyball/badminton court or fish with open access to the 3 acre pond a quick stroll from the cabin on paved roads. The main house floor plan consists of a master suite, complete with a king bed, luxury linens, flat screen TV and en suite private bathroom. The additional 4 king bedrooms include luxury linens, closet space and flat screen TVs, sharing two full Jack and Jill bathrooms with tub/shower combo. The game house has an upstairs loft bedroom/bunkroom featuring a queen bed and 2 twin daybeds with trundles, luxury linens, a full bathroom and shower. 6 bedrooms, and 4 full baths total.

• At no time are Fireworks Permitted

Don’t forget these items when you come to visit:
• Rain gear and light jackets (Our average rainfall is 55″-60″ each year).
• We have beautiful scenic trails; good hiking boots are a must.
• Water-shoes for our vast shorelines and streams.
• Insect repellent, sun block, and other first-aid supplies.

A starter supply of coffee/filters, cream/sugar, salt/pepper, paper towels, toilet paper, bath soap, dish soap, dishwasher tablets, trash bags, and laundry soap are provided, but guest may need to bring additional supplies.

Guests will have full private access to the cabin. Guests will access the cabin via smartlock system using a secure pin code that will be sent prior to arrival via text and email.

A digital guest guidebook will be sent to guests prior to their stay. It includes check in/out details, driving directions, a detailed cabin manual, area restaurants & recommendations, and more!

We offer contactless check-in. However, we will be available by phone during your stay. Additionally, we offer in-person support/maintenance when needed.
