The luxury retreat is set on Carter Mountain overlooking Ouachita National Forest, the cabin has everything…an expansive well-appointed grand lodge featuring wooded views through its impressive floor to ceiling windows, a full gourmet kitchen, stunning oversized floor to ceiling gas fireplace, as well as 5 luxury bedrooms all with private/semiprivate baths. In addition, services like a private chef, masseuse, or housekeeping can be added. And that’s not to mention the luxury details such as fine mattresses, linens, and furnishings. Modern Moose Lodge is conveniently located in Carter Mountain. It is also near Beavers Bend State Park, Broken Bow Lake and Hochatown area attractions, restaurants, and shopping. As you enter the inviting, fully furnished cabin you'll be surrounded by nature in a great room that boasts expansive vaulted ceilings encircled by floor to ceiling windows for breathtaking views. The great room features an oversized ultra-lux leather sofa, 2 matching leather lounge chairs, and a wide swivel barrel chair. Just to the left of the great room is where you will find the impressive kitchen, boasting its open concept shelving and upscale décor including a live edge dining table with seating for 8, island with seating for 4, an open concept floor plan with views of the floor to ceiling fireplace from the luxury kitchen, and a full size walk-in pantry. The full kitchen includes all the high-end appliances and cookware to make your favorite meals.

Just off the great room on the main level to the right is the first master suite with a king size bed, luxury mattress and linens, dresser and closet for storing personal items, and a flat-screen SMART-TV. Each bed features a high-end luxury mattress and fine pillows and linens to ensure the utmost comfort of our guests. The private master bathroom features double vanities and sinks, and an oversized walk-in shower. Just down the hall you will find another private master suite with jaw dropping views through the double doors that lead out to the main deck. This suite is well appointed with a king size bed, stunning stone gas fireplace, luxury mattress and linens, dresser, and closet for storing personal items, and a flat-screen SMART-TV. The private master bathroom features double vanities and sinks, an oversized walk-in shower and oversized relaxing soaking tub.

Back in the great room through the kitchen to the left you will find an expansive game room featuring all your entertainment needs including a 12-foot shuffleboard, pool table, live edge bar top with seating for 4, a bistro table with additional seating, and double door access to the main deck. The game room also features a 55-inch SMART-TV with cable and streaming capabilities. Towards the back of the game room, you will find an additional master suite featuring a king size bed, luxury mattress and linens, impressive floor to ceiling windows, a dresser, and closet for storing personal items, and a flat-screen SMART-TV. This room also features an attached ultra-lux private bath with double vanities and oversized walk-in shower.

For the convenience of guests, a laundry closet with a full-sized washer and dryer and half bath is located on the main level.

As you continue through the game room you will find a staircase that leads you to the impressive upstairs bunkroom featuring 6 queen beds… that’s 3 custom built-in bunkbeds! This room features floor to ceiling windows, a SMART-TV, lounge seating, a full bathroom with an oversized walk-in shower. Towards the back of the game room is an additional queen suite featuring luxury mattress and linens, a closet for storing personal items, and a flat-screen SMART-TV!

Back downstairs enjoy the spectacular views of Carter Mountain while relaxing in the large hot tub, featuring a well-appointed stone gas fireplace. The outside living provides over 1,300 sqft. of covered outdoor living, a SMART-TV, large sectional, dining table for 6, built in bar style seating for 12, built in gas grill and mini fridge, a foosball table, cornhole, and 4 custom built rocking chairs to sit back and enjoy the STUNNING views Modern Moose Lodge has to offer. Down the stairs you’ll find 2 lounge chairs, an additional picnic style table, the fire pit and horseshoes!

The property also boasts a seasonal creek with sounds of natural running spring water!

The cabin features 3 king private bedrooms, 1 queen private bedroom, and 6 queen beds in the bunkroom. It has 4.5 baths and comfortably sleeps 20! All bedrooms have private bathrooms, and all beds feature premium linens and luxury mattresses.

• We have beautiful scenic trails; good hiking boots are a must.
• Water-shoes for our vast shorelines and streams.
• Insect repellent, sun block, and other first-aid supplies.
• Condiments--Please Note: A starter supply of snacks, coffee/filters, cream/sugar, salt/pepper, herbs/spices, paper towels, toilet paper, bath soap, dish soap, dishwasher tablets, trash bags, and laundry soap are provided, but guest may need to bring additional supplies.

Guests do not have access to owner's closet, cleaning closet, some cabinets in kitchen and laundry room, and garage.

A digital guest guidebook will be sent to guests prior to their stay. It includes check in/out details, driving directions, a detailed cabin manual, area restaurants & recommendations, and more!
