Stayed at Hotel Spero 6/7-9/2025 and our booking included a beer flight and breakfast daily at Jasper’s. 6/7 we had a couple of appetizers (fries and wings) along with our beer flight. Service was very good and so was the food (didn’t get the name of our server, though). Breakfast both days was great. We liked the options offered (breakfast burrito, Belgian waffle, or American breakfast) and we all chose the American breakfast. Maria and Marvin were great! They were alone with quite a few customers and they handled everything very pleasantly and professionally. No complaints with service! Breakfast was good but the second day two of us asked for fruit instead of potatoes. It was a nice array of fruit (honeydew, pineapple, blueberries, and blackberries…all fresh!) but four out of the five blackberries had some mold on them. All other food was great, though. Blackberries are a pain to keep fresh, I know. All-in-all I’d recommend Jasper’s Corner Taphouse. Great place, great staff.

Fun pub with European vibe. Good food, but the fish portions are a bit small for fish and chips. Buffalo chicken strips are fun too. Foreign beers and domestic ales. Excellent experience!

I was staying at Canopy by Hilton for a night and they had put a board for ‘breakfast with a view’. This intrigued me and I chose to have breakfast at Shelby’s. What a cute place. Loved the ambiance and staff were very friendly. I ordered the egg breakfast and it was wholesome and well prepared. I highly recommend this place if you’re in the neighborhood or otherwise.

Recently had dinner with my mother here. The main dining area was not open until 6, but we dined in the bar/lounge area. We started with the grilled octopus which was tender and perfectly cooked. Then for the main course she had the papparadelle pasta and I had the lobster risotto. For dessert we shared the ricotta donuts. Everything was rich and delicious. The staff was very attentive to us, always coming over to refill out water glasses, though they needed to speak a little louder.

AMAZING!! I’m a litttle late on leaving my review as I dined here mid January(while in town for the JP Morgan conference), but clearly this place is still on my mind! This restaurant by far exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed. Every server was warm, knowledgeable, and just overall welcoming. I dined alone and let me tell you, I had a great time! Everything and I do mean everything was delicious! The cheese spread presentation blew me away as I was not expecting an entire cart of cheese to come out to choose from because again, I was dining alone. I also added the wine pairing and my server did an outstanding job giving me a little background on each as well as giving me a couple different ones to try. I can go on and on about this place. Do not hesitate to dine with them. Definitely an experience I’ll never forget and will be looking forward to dining with them again in the future!

I thought everything was perfect. Our waiter was EXCELLENT. We got a bottle of red from Campagna which was reasonably priced and delectable. Our two salads were delicate and refined, and the pasta was firm but tender (how is that possible by the way?) filled with delightful morsels. Nice mixed fruit pie with ice cream to complete. Recommended.
